Ingredients:

  • 1 medium head savoy cabbage
  • 500 g minced turkey fillet
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 ½ tablespoons red lentils
  • 2 ½ tablespoons long-grain rice
  • 1 small bunch of parsley
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • salt

Preparation:

With cabbage remove the upper leaves. Leaves around the stem with a sharp knife to cut and neatly separated from the head of cabbage.
Prepare the stuffing. Onions and garlic peel, chop as finely as possible. Wash the parsley, leaves chopped. In a bowl, combine beef, onion, garlic, rice, parsley, lentils, and thyme and mix well. Salt and pepper a little stronger than the taste.


Wrap the stuffing in the cabbage leaves. In a large pot, boil water, put it in a box for cooking for a couple of stuffed and put in one layer. Cook over medium heat, covered for 15-20 minutes. Serve hot.
Stuffed cabbage can also be prepared in an electric steamer, put in a pan with a thick bottom in a small amount of vegetable broth or bake in the oven for tomato paste.
